A large American Leatherbound Family Bible, containing the Family Register for the Hayter / Flood Family of Reading and Surrey, and containing a completed photo album section of 16 Carte d'Visites. The Bible also includes two inserts: a large silk embroidered bookmark with the word 'Hope', and a small press clipping pertaining to the death of Edward Sydney Flood.
The Bible is monogramed in Gold "C.J. & R. Flood" which we believe pertains to the owner's father, listed as Charles Flood.
