Politically Incorrect WW1 Postcard “The Bone of Contention”

WWI era politically incorrect Egyptian postcard, displaying a crude stereotype of Egyptians besieging as Australian ANZAC soldier in an attempt to shine his shoes. This is a theme that appears in a lot of Egyptian WWI postcards. In this example, the soldier exclaims “Imshee Yala!”, an impolite slang phrase in Arabic, roughly meaning “Go Away!”
