I have two Carte de Visites, one seemingly of a young girl in a dress, around 3 years old, the other of a male in his early 20s. The photo of the girl appears to date from the 1860, and has the hand written inscription “Lacey Nussey Everett”. The photo of the moustached gentleman is inscribed “Lacey N Everett 1885”. Both were taken in Leeds.

So my question: Was the little girl, Lacey Everett actually a little boy? What do you think?
