Large full black textured leather binding with four large ridges to spine. Bevelled rounded edges to boards. Gilt text block edges. Blue marbled endpapers with gilt borders to paste downs. Silk page markers. Family register of John Stewart MacKintosh (born Lee Kent 1871) and Alice Emmeline Ballard (born Islington 1871) inserted between between the Old and New Testaments, who were married at Christ Church Lancaster Gate London 1898. It includes genealogical information on the family of subsequent births, baptisms, confirmations, marriages and deaths with first entry dated 1898 and last entry c1990. Light wear to corners, edges and spine ends. Chipped leather to lower spine end. Cracked to upper rear spine edge, hinge remains very strong. Tightly bound with clean unmarked endpapers and very strong hinges. Clean unmarked pages other than family register being a handwritten document of the family history.
