In Image 2, an unnamed writer describes how Kingsley Macomber gave them this bible in sometime around 1959/1960. Kingsley is described as 'a nice man who owned a big house in an elite older area of downtown L.A', with a father who was a judge in the area.
The writer states that Kinsley donated around 600 books (his entire library) to the 'Boys Republic'. Kingsley is then described to have spent an entire Sunday afternoon loading all these books into the writer's station wagon. The writer states that they were the Chairman for the 'Pasadena Auxiliary of the Boys Republic' at the time.
